What’s wrong Carli?

Published

We often wish we could ask our patients, “what happened to you today?”

We were hoping 6-month-old Carlie could tell us what was wrong. Her owner brought her into our clinic to see the emergency veterinarian after Carlie became weak, vomited, and was unsteady on her feet.

Carlie had an exam but it was unclear why she wasn’t feeling right. Her blood work was normal but as a precaution Carlie spent the night in our ICU receiving fluids. By morning she was feeling much better. We have to suspect this lovely pup ate something she shouldn’t have, but she’ll never tell us what! Carlie went home happy and feeling like her old self.

If only pets could talk!
